Memorial services for Bryan Arlen Burris, of Mansfield, Ohio, will be held at a later date. Mr. Burris passed away Monday, April 7, 2025, in Temple, Texas. He was born on December 5, 1938, in Arkansas City, Kansas, the son of Jennings Burris and Violet (Kloxin) Burris. His youth was spent on a Kansas wheat farm. Bryan served in the Air Force in an intelligence unit while later in life he created a career in the insurance and health care industry. Admired and respected by his peers, Bryan was a man of quiet strength, devotion, and integrity. He married the love of his life, Patty (Shields) Burris on January 28, 1959. Together for 55 years, they created a wonderful life full of adventures, laughter and love.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Patty, his daughter Kimberley Capobianco, his brother Jack Burris, his sisters, Suzann Bonnici, Alice Caulfield, and Normalea Pitt. He is survived by his son Michael Burris, two daughters, Deborah Woods and Suzanne Perez; one brother, Kay Burris; nine grandchildren, Courtney Wood, Caroline Capobianco, Christopher Capobianco, Nathaniel Woods, Leonardo Perez, Lilyana Perez, Alex Sandberg, Emily Burris, Josephine Burris; and four great grandchildren, Brennan Wood, Brooke Wood, Phoenix Capobianco, and Tanner Capobianco; with another great grandchild expected to arrive in mid-May 2025. He will be missed and loved by them all. Mr. Burris was cremated prior to services. Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee, 38105.
