Tomasa Salinas Lopez, a beloved member of her family and community, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2025, in Temple, Texas. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Tomasa's life with a viewing on March 31, 2025, from 6 PM to 8 PM at Dossman Funeral Home, located at 2525 N Main St, Belton, TX. A funeral service will take place the following day, April 1, 2025, starting at 2 PM, also at Dossman Funeral Home with a burial to follow at North Belton Cemetery

Born on June 8, 1960, in Lampasas, Texas to parents Israel and Tomasa Salinas.

Tomasa was not only a devoted mother to her six children, but also a cherished grandmother and great-grandmother. Her family was the center of her life, and she took immense joy in her roles as a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and aunt.

Throughout her life, Tomasa was known for her loving nature and her ability to nurture those around her. Her interests included thrift shopping and antique hunting, activities that brought her joy and allowed her to express her unique style and appreciation for history.

She is survived by her significant other, John Richard Hill, who stood by her side with unwavering love and support, her children, Alfred Lopez (Everette), Alberto Lopez, III, Juan Perez, Tomasa Hill (Bryan), Tinia Lopez (Gary Cornelison), Christi Goeke, and Denise Jenkins; her siblings, Theodoro Salinas and Lupe Montalbo; her beloved grandchildren, Jasmine Deal (Christian), Ariel Hill, Briana Hill, Reagan Lopez, Alberto Lopez IV, Layla Lopez, Ella Lopez, Joshua Lighthall, Kyle Lighthall, and her great-grandchild, Ezra Carson.

Tomasa was preceded in death by her parents, Israel and Tomasa Salinas, her husband Albert Bueno Lopez, Jr., and her brothers, Estandslado "Tiny" Salinas and Israel Salinas, Jr. Their memories will forever be cherished as part of her legacy.

Tomasa Salinas Lopez's kind spirit and loving heart will be sorely missed, but her legacy will continue to live on through the countless lives she touched. As we remember her, let us carry forward the values she instilled in all of us: love, kindness, and a passion for family.
