Douglas Edward Pond

Douglas Edward Pond, 90, of Temple, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2024.

Services will be held at Taylor’s Valley Baptist Church in Temple, on Tuesday, October 22, at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery. Dossman Funeral Home is assisting with these services.

Douglas was born on March 1, 1934, in Bryson, TX., to parents Lee Pond and Amie Upchurch Pond.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Pond; two sons, Jack Douglas Pond and Randall Stewart Pond; two daughters, Sharon Pond Hollon and Amy Pond Carr; three sisters, Dorothy Olds, Lois Anderson, Johnnie Skaggs; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
