Dr. Cheryl Voigtel
Funeral services for Dr. Cheryl D. Voigtel, 57, of Belton, TX, will be held 10:00am, Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton with Chase Bowers and Tom Bever officiating. Graveside service will follow at 1:30pm at Old Union Cemetery near Groesbeck with Dr. Stuart Cole officiating.
The family will receive friends for visitation Friday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel.
Dr. Voigtel passed away Friday, February 7, 2025, in a Houston hospital.
Dr. Voigtel was born June 29, 1967, in Arlington, Texas. She was a proud graduate of Texas Tech University and Baylor College of Dentistry. She married Dr. Richard Voigtel on December 15, 1990, and they acquired the Dental Center of Belton in 1992. During those early years, she was the only female private practice dentist in Bell County. Dr. Cheryl was a fun, passionate friend, mother and wife with an unending love for her family, coworkers and friends.
A longtime member of Temple Bible Church, she possessed a deep faith in God and although her passing was unexpected, she was secure in her faith.
Preceded in death by her brother, Robert Doyle, Dr. Cheryl is survived by her husband of 34 years, Dr. Richard Voigtel, her two wonderful children, Mandy and Cooper Voigtel, and her beloved mother, Dana Sue Doyle.
